BONDING!!!

Here is No 2 Son "trying" to catch Moby Dick...ha ha.No seriously Dad had decided that it was time for Rob and Dad to go camping with all our new camping gear.So off we headed to Lake Coleridge which is big and as you can just make out is stunning,we also went with a couple of friends we have met.We arrive at the campsite to find that its really really basic living like er 1 compost toilet and for those of you who dont know what i mean read on....the toilet is a wooden shack on stilts and every time you take a c...p you put sawdust down the hole...well Rob was the first out of us to try it out ha ha he came out and said in no uncertain terms that was the last visit he wanted to make.So onto our next problem on this bonding session,i said we had got all new stuff even a cooker and gas bottle so Tracey had made some mince and we took some pasta which needed cooking and warming so i set it all up and we sat and sat and sat and then found out Tracey had not filled the gas bottle up oh yes we were laughing now...not.Luckily our friends had bought a smaller cooker...with gas so we made do.Anyway theres more, during the night it got windy and the bloody tent collapsed at the end we were sleeping in so needless to say we were dog tired when we got back home and Tracey....well once we explained everything that had happened she could not stop crying with laughter....GREAT

HAGLEY PARK CONCERT

Hi people we are trying to update blog so here are a few photos and some description as to whats going on.In this one we decided to attend a concert in Hagley Park which is in the centre of Chrisstchurch. The music was based around theatre shows and the boys really seemed to enjoy it.The early evening weather was warm and so a glass or 2 of wine was taken but boy did it get cold later. We cannot wait for next year when the park has some great music coming to it......and its free.....yey.
