Here we are on the beach at 'Taylor' s Mistake' on the East coast. It was a fairly chilly day - hence Nick's fleece, but since then we have hit the beach several times in warmer weather. The latest was yesterday, when at Sumner beach the temperature was 30 degrees! BUT it was extremely windy so we didn't stay too long. The sand was whipping across the beach, and stinging our flesh - ouch!!

Great to see you have all arrived safely... in fact, it is wonderful to see you at all having only met 'Mum' but she has said lots about you all.
Well done on the blog posts too... photographs and everything... awesome.
Very envious of you all in NZ... I'd recommend a trip to Arthur's Pass - some stunning scenery and wonderful crops of outlying rock. A field day for any geographer!
All is well at Stepping Stones... hope you are following our Advent Calendar... we break up for Christmas this week and I'm very much looking forward to the break.
