Ski Sunday

Here are the boys on their first Ski trip with Dad,this is the access road to the top of the mountain and believe me the rides at Chessington are nothing compared with driving up a very icey, narrow, steep mountain track......bloody hairaising.Anyway theres a story that goes with this so here goes...
As you will see on later pictures i was advised to buy snow chains which i did and had great fun trying to master putting them on...not....so there we are following this car up the mountain when it stops because 1 of his chains has come off.I am just behind him stationary with him waving me on past but no bloody way....there was no room or so i thought and with that cars were streaming past so i decided to have a go.
The moment i start to accelerate away the car suddenly decides to go into the ditch on the left which as Joe is sitting on that side freaks him out...so here we are stuck up a mountain....ha ha ha.Then a ranger arrives and jumps in and reverses the car which eventually comes out of the ditch but in such a way that its now across the whole track blocking the road...with the 2 boys still inside now holding on very tightly.
He then does a 3 point turn which leaves the back of the car overhanging the road and drives it up to me which i then take up to the top.The advice to anyone who buys chains is......put them on the bloody front, that was lesson 1 in owning a 4WD.
Anyway as you can see we all lived and had great fun.
